About Us
The Keates family have been quarrying in Purbeck since the late seventeenth century, operating from our present site since 1951.
Situated overlooking Swanage and the Purbeck hills and less than a mile from the famous Square and Compass pub, there are currently three
genrations working in the quarry, Father & Son (Both called Kevin!) and the younger Kevin's two sons Séamus & Dannon.
We dig, process and finish our stone to a high standard and provide our customers, private and trade, with a personal and friendly service.
